I've seen the a couple of times at Merlefest. Lots of whiskey songs. They are exceptional musicians and all session players with lots of experience, so they make a fine sound. Not always my cup of tea, but very fine for what they do.

Two beautiful songs there. Thank you.

I love Wagon Wheel. Here is another fine rendition by Old Crow Medicine Show:

And here's a fine number to bounce along to:

Bet you've never seen a gas tank utilized so well.

Hey, Captain Rodrigo Mendoza. When I woke up this morning I was humming a song and it took me more then a few minutes (I am not at my brightest then) to realize it was Heaven Sent! You are in my sub-conscious now. (Be careful in there.) "I know my days are..."

I have never seen a bluegrass crowd as jacked as that OCMS clip. I expected a mosh pit to form at any moment.

The Paganini Bluegrass wasn't my cup of Earl Grey until it turned into a Country Death Song/Russian Lullaby halfway through. And that is a fine use for a gas tank.

What is the color when black is burned?

Have a good week-end Billy Sunday.

Hah, I don't blame you. “Heaven Sent” is such a catchy, feel-good tune. While I'm in your subconscious, I hope you don't mind if I spark one up. Let me know if it gets too smokey in there.

Paganini Bluegrass, lol. That tune also reminded me of Russian Lullaby to some extent, when it slows down in the middle.

Thanks for another solid rec as well. Enjoy the weekend. Max Cady signing off.

Max Cady! Holy Shit! You just get out? Sure, I have your money. Can I give you some more?

Here is a great little clip (not a Robert special, sorry). Ryan Gosslings character is a mover and that days work involves moving an old man from his apartment in NYC to a nursing home in PA. ~>www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvUUZZi4uUE

Yea, I just got out. I like to enjoy my evenings at the movie theaters now:

Movies like Blue Valentine aren't usually Cady's first choice, but I've heard it recommended a few times now, so I think I'll check it out. In continuing the rec's, you should check out the Australian film Animal Kingdom when you have a chance. A fine piece of movie-making. Cady approves:
